(Frontal) Loeb

Let me get this straight:

I just spent five whole minutes reading Ultimate Hulk Annual #1.

The crux of the story was...

Hulk want pancakes.

Hulk needs pants.*

Hulk wants sex?

Really, Jeph Loeb?

Really?

Seriously.

wow.

*God knows, I don't want to know where he pulled the money from.

The disconnect between the cost of comics and their entertainment value can be a bitch, can't it?

I'm a big fan of pancakes, pants, and sex. All three are huge favorites of mine. Especially when combined. The idea of the Hulk chasing after all three sounds charming and fun.

For a 75-cent comic.

Combining a throwaway story style with keeper pricing is a great way to anger customers.

Y'know, I thought the same thing. I don't know, and don't want to know.

The lesson we should all take away from this is "Don't let Jeph Loeb write Hulk stories." See his run on Hulk for further evidence. He just doesn't get it.

Just a stunt to get noticed-Obama Said he liked Spider-Man and Conan,so Marvel puts on a cover.Guess Dark Horse should have him meet Conan and fight.
